Snorkelling at Hon Mot: a wild-island cove
Hon Mot’s coves are clear and sheltered, making them a snorkelling stop for boat tours. Here is how to get in safely and protect the reef.
4 min read · Updated 2026-10-28Why Hon Mot?
With no development or piers, the coves stay undisturbed and clear in the calm season. The boat stops right in the cove and guests enter the water from the boat.
What to bring
Life jackets and masks are on the tour boat. Bring reef-friendly sunscreen, a sun shirt and water. Non-swimmers can join with a life jacket and help on site.
Rules in the water
Swim in groups, never stand on the reef or touch coral, don’t feed fish. When tired, float in your life jacket or swim back to the boat.
Tours that snorkel at Hon Mot
YOLO Ocean Camp snorkels in a Hon Mot cove around 09:30; VND 750,000 adult, VND 470,000 child (excl. VAT). Message Nha Trang World to book.
